Life still on hold

Feel like my life has been on hold since my husband's diagnosis in November. I lost him in April and now my dad is about to start chemo for oesophagus cancer and then have a huge operation with a long recovery.

Thank God for this website, somewhere to offload!

Well dad has nearly finished his first stint at the hospital and everything seems to have gone smoothly. I know it doesn't kick in straight away but everything went to time etc so feel better for knowing that.

Next step is 2 weeks of tablets and lots of temperature checking then a week off then do it all again then a bit of a gap before the op.

Just feel glad that he has the first bit over with

Well he is back from hospital and is happily sitting watching the football looking perfectly well.....so far so good!
