I received a letter today from the Phase 1 Trials, based at the Christie under Prof. M. Ranson. I am going to see them on the 18th January to find out more.

By the way, the steroids did nothing for my cough. I did add 6lbs on in 4 days and I've not bothered looking at my weight since!

Hi Lesley,

Good luck with the trial and let us know what they say on the 18th. Hope it isn't anything too rotten and you are eligible.

Hmmm about the steroids. I hope they sort your cough out some other way than you turning into a balloon.

I think LM has a thing about balloons at the moment!

Deal with cancer first and worry about weight afterwards.

Good luck with the trials!

I try not to worry about weight. There are so many other things to worry about. But a small, unworthy part of me does wish that I looked frail and winsome and not huge and lardy! I guess cultural conditioning isn't that easy to shake off, eh?
