I received a letter today from the Phase 1 Trials, based at the Christie under Prof. M. Ranson. I am going to see them on the 18th January to find out more.

By the way, the steroids did nothing for my cough. I did add 6lbs on in 4 days and I've not bothered looking at my weight since!

I had a cough. dr gave me antibiotic. Augmentin....worked a trick!!

hiya hilary......

I always hankered the 'frail and winsome' look....

unfortunately.... I'm knocking on 50 and it looks more ' loose and hanging'

and a bit like i'm de hydrated...!!

It's just not perky anymore...!!

Hope the 18th goes well and the trial is a success.

I haven't looked at the bathroom scales for ages myself!

hope all goes well on the 18th

steroids seem to be the alternative to diet pills but as Odin says kick the cancer first and sort the rest out later

As for scales I have always avoided them they are cruel and tell lies they never say what you want them to.

I had to get on scales prior op and it was a bit of a shock and after op when I lost weight but wouldn't like to get on them now
