Hi Alibongo1402
I am sorry to hear that you are going through chemo and there is a possibility of spread to your liver. My cancer was also carcinoma sarcoma.
I hope that your mri can be done quickly and the results come back quickly as waiting for the results is hard.
Once they know for sure what the liver lesion is then they can make a plan for what will happen next. Although surgery may not be an option, it does not mean that there are no options for further treatment and that the cancer would not respond to the treatment. It is possible to have lesions in the liver for other causes.
At one of my reviews I asked what would happen if my cancer came back and they said radiotherapy would be out as I have already had it- however further chemo could be an option. They said that would likely be the same chemo as I had responded to it before but if not there were other regimes that could be tried. Immunotherapy and targeted therapies may be an option. There are also hormonal treatments. I was also told that sometimes surgery could be an option after having one of the other treatments.
It is difficult to cope when having bad news and we are here if you need us. There is also the Support Line if you feel you need to talk things through.

Thanks jane I carnt sleep it's driving me insane
Am not surprised. For me, all the way along, the waiting is the hard part- once I knew what I was dealing with and what could be done- then I felt better.
From my understanding, if it is a secondary cancer then it will be endometrial rather than liver cancer- so may well respond to the chemo that you are currently having. If it doesn't then there are still other options- but they need to know exactly what the lesion is to work out the most effective way to treat it.
Do give the Support Line a call if you need to.
