I was diagnosed in August with invasive endometrial cancer here in Ontario, Canada. I have not found a forum like this yet at home for womb cancer. I had a hysterectomy with removal of ovaries, fallopian tubes, omentum and pelvic lymph nodes. I had two rounds of paclitaxel and carboplatin so far of the 6 that were planned. I am 67. All this has been quite a shock. I am relieved to find support and information from people who have been through this or are going through this now. I am considering not doing radiation therapy.
Hi DidiOntario
Welcome to the Womb group and online community.
I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis of endometrial cancer. I also had a grade 3 cancer.
Am glad that you are finding it helpful to get support on here.
I have replied to your post re the radiotherapy just now.
