Hi, I have recently had a hysterectomy and brachytherapy adjunct therapy for the treatment of Pre stage 1a Endometrial serous cancer which was confined to a 1cm polyp. I am now considered cured and have less than 10% chance of recurrence. However given the serous histology and P53 gene I remained concerned about how I mentally and emotionally manage this relative risk. Any advice would be gratefully received and/or contact with people who face a similar situation.
Many thanks to all and best of luck to you all
Fredam, I’d suggest that you contact your CNS and ask about your hospital’s Life After Cancer course. Some hospitals do it as a whole day course, some as a few shorter sessions. It will provide real time support for you as you try to move forward.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
