Take care everyone and I wish u all well Xx

  • Hi Lara, good to hear from you - and no, the gynae didn't use a camera, just a speculum. I was a bit worried it might be painful but it didn't hurt, not even when she opened it and stretched the vagina to inspect the vaginal cuff. She also checked out my abdomen, which still feels bloated to me (although possibly too many biscuits is the real cause...). My legs are, like yours, still tingling but gradually less and less. I have an appointment in August to see the oncologist, and had a CT scan recently that I'm waiting to hear the results from. Hope your appointment goes well - let us know how you get on. Take care, Dx

  • Hi . Nice to hear from you again and all's healing nicely. Do ask though about the tingling sensations, reading what other ladies have said it's normal, I just didn't have anything like that!

My Oncologist used a speculum and also shall I say "touch" to make sure the Brachytherapy scars were healing well. I did ask to see my MRI which was to me, quite awe inspiring! How the heck the radiologist techies spotted the tumour was beyond me!

    Big hugs, Barb xx Hugging
