Hi All,
I probably won't get on here tomorrow, so thought I'd wish you all the best Christmas you can have given the present circumstances! Lets hope next year is less stressful, and better for all of you. xxxxxx
You too NannyAnny. Thanks for all your support and encouragement - it's made such a difference to me this year! Dx
Hi all
haven’t been on for a couple of weeks
today was supposed to be my first bracket therapy but it had to be cancelled
i was in hospital with sepsis the other week
I thought I was plodding along quite nicely then 2 weeks ago sat I ended up in hospital,I have never felt so bad
anyway had ct scan that showed a pocket of infection so last Friday I had a procedure to lance it so it could drain ,I was not looking forward to another op which was this time in Kettering but once again staff and consultant very nice
was sent home Saturday afternoon with antibiotics but I still felt very rough and nauseous I got extra pain relief and sickness tablets from doc
only one more to take I am convinced it’s them making me feel so rough so hopefully feel better
Dream Weaver I am glad u have got through your bracky and can start to put this behind a you as with all the others at this stage
some of you still got a bit of a way to go and I wish u all the very best
lets hope next year comes with better times for us all

Hi Lara,
What an absoutely awful thing to happen to you but am glad to hear sepsis has been caught and treated OK. It's hard enough dealing with all the stuff about cancer without this happening!
Antibiotics make me feel sick so you're likely right that they're why you're feeling so rough.
Good that you're home for Christmas - take it easy and rest up until next year comes. Have you got folk around to spoil you? I hope so, it sounds like you deserve some TLC after all you've been through.
Wishing you all the best for 2021: take care, stay safe!
Dx

I too do not come on here often and not very good at offering support. My star sign is Cancer the crab which is very apt in my case! However I have really appreciated the support given to me. Also I am still on my "journey" until February.
May you all have the best Christmas you can and hopefully the New Year will be less stressful.
