I think the morphine pump is the best thing invented!!! Not too nice when they take it off you!!! xxxx

They’ve now given paracetamol so maybe won’t have pump for too long!

Yay, your op is done. Now you just concentrate on getting well, and try to get a good night's sleep....that is usually impossible in hospital!

We really are fortunate having the NHS, with so many people who care about us and our health. Sorry to hear keyhole didn't work for you; is pain relief OK now you're home?

I had my COVID swab today, and checked out the entrance I have to use at 7.30 on Wednesday morning. Beginning to feel like it's really going to happen. Just hoping I'm negative and not asymptomatic for COVID - been self-isolating and avoiding everyone when out for a walk.

Hi Curly101, So glad your op is over. Shame they couldn’t do keyhole but hey my thinking is its better out than in and Wednesday isn’t that far away. Hope you manage to get a restful night. Take care of yourself and concentrate on your recovery.
