Hello ladies,
Firstly I am hoping joining here is unnecessary but I am in a state. Have had itching for around 6 weeks thought maybe soap or washing liquid so changed both. Tried washing with just water, nothing helps I wake up at night scratching. This can also be a symptom of hypothyroidism which I have but I am well medicated for it. This week I have noticed what seems to feel like a "hole" which is sore and feels like a kind of ulcer on the outer labia. I then did the Google search and realised I should see a GP. I also suffer from HS which causes abcesses and boils but this is more of just an open sore that's appeared. I had a hysterectomy in 2007 due to pre cancerous cells that they were unable to reach with laser. I have made an appointment with GP but it's a weeka away and I can't stop dwelling on this. Hopefully I am just over reacting and being a drama queen. But anyway hello to you all xx
Hello Bobbi77, you did the right thing my making an appointment to see your GP. Sorry you have to wait a week for an appointment though. I should ring again and tell them that you are worried and if it would be possible to go earlier. Try to keep away from Doctor Google though, it makes your mind work overtime. Please try not to worry though, but not easy.
Thinking of you and hope all goes well. Keep in touch.
