I’m scheduled for a simple vulvectomy with skin flaps. I was wondering if anybody can share how long this type of operation takes? The doctor mentioned 8 hours which seems a bit much?
My radical vulvectomy was 3 hours but didn’t need a skin flap. Presumably had I needed one it would have made the operation longer. I hope all goes well. If you have any questions please ask.
