Hi Sansan ,
I am very sorry to hear of how your cancer diagnosis is affecting you, both emotionally and the pain you're experiencing.
Do you have a specialist nurse? If you do then it may be worth reaching out to them for a chat. It could also be worth having a chat to your GP about your mood and the pain you are experiencing.
Macmillan offer a counselling service which you can access by clicking here. Our sessions are offered via Bupa and are specifically targeted towards people affected by cancer.
We also have a helpline where our friendly advisors can be contacted for emotional support. They can be contacted on the number below.
I am here if you have any questions or would like to chat.
Take care,
Thankyou got appointment with doc tomorrow will let you know how I get on xx
Got appointment at doc tomorrow thankyou for getting back to me x
Hi hope you don't mind me asking .but did the vulva c affect your water works and did you have any pain down leg x
Hi Sansan,
I don't mind at all. My surgery affected my water works and caused burning in my legs and feet, but not the cancer itself. For me it was more a side effect of the surgery. That said, I am sure it will be different for us all, for others it could well be the case pre surgery. If you are struggling with difficult symptoms then it could be worth speaking to your consultant or specialist nurse if you have one. I recall you having an appointment with your GP, were they able to help at all?
Take care,

Hi Sansan ,
I am so sorry that you’re having such a difficult time, it sounds such a lot.
It sounds like you have lots of treatments and investigations in place already, but don’t be afraid to let your team know if it isn’t enough. They may be able to give you something for your pain if they haven’t already.
I will be keeping everything crossed that your pain is under control very soon. Please do reach out for support if you need it. As before I am always happy to chat on here and if you want to talk to a member of the Macmillan team on the phone they can be reached on 0808 808 00 00 between 8am and 8pm. They are lovely and very supportive.
