I’ve had gynae for years and had multiple surgical operations. Now consultant says my option is palliative chemo. I think it means it’s incurable and I’m worried.
Please can someone reply to me because I’m scared about what’s going to happen. Anyone else on palliative chemo??
Hi collegegirl,
Sorry your post has been unanswered for a long time.
I am sorry you are going through this and I appreciate how scary this must be for you. I have not had palliative chemo, but wanted to suggest that you may like to give the Macmillan support line a call on 0808 808 00 00. There will be a trained professional that you will be able to speak to and ask any questions you may have. I have also found my specialist nurse to be helpful in explaining things to me and answering any questions I have, so if you have a specialist nurse it may be worth making contact with them.
I hope someone is able to offer you the advice and support you need, but in the meantime I am happy to talk if you want someone to talk to.
Take care,
