Hello every one I had my diagnosis few weeks ago I have pre cancerous cells and cancer cells and I have my sentinel nodes checked on the 11th and my op to remove the lump the following day. I'm only 35 and bin told it's very rare and I'm basically to young for this cancer which b4 this I'd never even herd of. So I'm not really sure what this is all about. Not sure if I'm just putting a brave face on as it may not be as bad as other cancers it's all happened so fast since my biopsy to having the operation x

  • Hi ,

A warm welcome to the online community, although I’m sorry you find yourself here.

I was only 37 when I was diagnosed and I too was told it is very rare and that it’s seen mostly in the over 65’s. I had a wide local excision to remove the cancer and the VIN3 (Pre cancerous cells) and a sentinel node biopsy.

I am glad they are getting you in and treated quickly!

If you have any questions then please feel free to ask.

    Take care,

    Vulval cancer warrior xx
