Recently diagnosed with vaginal cancer...awaiting Petscan results...scary times...
Hi Scarey welcome to the forum. Im not surprised when you say "scarey times" it is indeed and the trick to make the waiting around less stressful is to keep super busy. There are some lovely folks on here who I feel sure will pop by shortly and offer up loads of support. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing and we will be thinking of you.
Hi Scarey and welcome to the group.
I hope you don’t have long to wait for your petscan results, and that this will give you a treatment plan going forward. It’s a difficult time, waiting for the next steps, but I found things became easier once all my results were available and my plan was decided.
Once you have your treatment plan, you may want to update your profile with details of your tests, cancer stage and treatment and it will be easier for others who have dealt with this to help support you through and answer any questions.
We understand how frightening this is when you are first diagnosed, so please feel free to ask any questions here, and those of us who have been through this type of cancer will be here for you. Keep us posted if you can.
Sarah xx
