Hi everyone
I was diagnosed with TNBC in December last year and have now competed chemotherapy cycles. Having surgery in july which will be followed by radiotherapy.
any advice on how to cope with radiotherapy sessions. Any side effects that need to be taken care of. Any tips and tricks will be highly appreciated.
Hi TNBC50
Your radiotherapy specialist will explain all the possible side effects when you have your appointment with them. I am nearly finished radiotherapy and I haven’t had too many side effects from it. The possible side effects are redness in the area that’s been treated, a sore throat, and fatigue. If you go to the diagnosis and treatment section of the Breast Cancer forum there’s a June 2021 Breast Cancer Radiotherapy thread where you can find information from others going through radiotherapy.
Wishing you the best of luck with the rest of your treatments.
Best wishes
