Hi, my daughter was diagnosed in April and has completed 12 x weekly chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. On Monday she started her next stage which is 4 x 3 weekly EC treatments. Today she experienced delirium, could not move, total confusion/ brain fog, lasting maybe 20 minutes, (she has experienced this early on in her treatment too) has anyone else had similar?
Hi, thank you, yes she did end up going to hospital and thankfully all her relevant ‘levels’ were okay. Shook us up though.
I've had the EC treatment and the side effects are horrible. As well as nausea, vomiting, I've had days where I was a total zombie, neuropathy stiff legs and backache. But best to go to the hospital especially if it's not a commmonly listed side effect - see the very useful section on Drugs. Good luck with the treatment and hang in there...
