So today I got the results after my recent surgery. The mass they thought may have been another tumour wasn't, yipeee.
They removed 15 lymph nodes and 4 had tumours so a whole body CT scan is being booked, results of this determine the next steps.
I'm relieved but worried again as I have to wait again.
Has this happdned to anyone else?
Hi Tri Neg 2025
I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum. I'm glad to hear that the mass they found turned out to be ok but sorry to hear that they found cancer in four of the lymph nodes that they took.
When I had surgery nearly two years ago they found cancer in one of my lymph nodes and they gave me a full body scan and apart from finding a small tumour in my left breast they didn't find anything else. I had a further operation to remove all the lymph nodes under my right arm and the tumour in my breast after which I had chemo and radiotherapy. I finished my treatment over a year ago and I have been cancer free since.
Wishing you the best of luck with your scan.
Best wishes
