Hi Thyroid buddies
I had my surgery 6 weeks ago and decided I needed to do some self care, my surgeon said it was fine after a couple of weeks to get on with life as normal. However I tried to go to a yoga class last week where I was turned away because the teacher said it was too soon after surgery and she would feel responsible even though I said I would just do what I felt able too, I was also turned away from a facial, that I understood more as it was a few weeks ago, but yesterday 6 weeks post op I was told I could not have a massage :-(
Hs anyone else experienced this? Is it not safe to do these things? the massage lady said she did not want to stimulate lymph nodes.
Anyone else know anything about this? I am so anxious I was trying to book some relaxing things in to try to calm me down but so fr I have just made myself more anxious, which would be funny if it was not so sad
