Probably not a good idea that at my two week blood test and telephone discussion I rejoiced that my blood readings for T4 and TSH were in range.
So has anyone else had a T4 reading of 34 and TSH 0.03 . I found myself on the floor breathing heavily at the 3 week mark then just went downhill rapidly over the next few days. Taking the tablet 100 mcg every morning became a terrifying trial with a surge of adrenaline ,muscle rigidity, tinnitus followed by afternoon episodes of total dizziness. I asked for a blood test with the GP but that is still a week away so after I vomited I made my way to A/E . Blood tests showed these readings termed a biochemical severe hyperthyroidism reaction. The Dr warned me that my readings this week would still rise but come down with the lower dose 75mcg over the next fortnight.
What a terrifying experience anyone else gone through this. I did ask my surgeon to start as low as possible but I'm guessing 100mcg is low for TSH suppression.
Hospital Dr warned me to vigilant for the next fortnight and phone immediately for an ambulance if my symptoms change /worsen.
