Hi all. My husband is due to have one cycle of carboplatin in a couple of weeks. Looking for advice as to how I can best prepare/ look after him while he recovers as have no idea what to expect. Many thanks.
You could try and keep the place where you live a peaceful place. Try to declutter the place - remove trip hazards etc. If you have the space set up a spare room where he can just sit in peace and read or whatever. He'll have good days and worse days, but it doesn't last long so just roll with it. Just head off any stressful situations. Going out for short quiet trips on the good days is nice.
