Hi partner diagnosed beginning July after lump appeared on lip during a nasty bout of covid. See profile for details
Constantly told by various drs its a really rare type and probably end up seeing specialist! ct scan & bloods done
Told this week by dr they think its gone when biopsy taken so no treatment to be given!
Re scan in a few months!
we should be thrilled but cant believe its gone only a few weeks ago told him would need radiotherapy etc still reeling from the diagnosis and now no treatment?
how to manage this? Anyone else had similar?
Hi again Pastyum this is great news and actually not that uncommon.
Over my early years with my first type of T-Cell my condition came and went….. my team said that it was down to my immune system being able to periodically fight back….. basically what our immune system is designed to do.
This happens all the time when people are on active monitoring and can go years without requiring treatment.
Enjoy the freedom and let’s look for their Lymphoma to remain asleep.
