A warm welcome to all those who joined us over the past months.
We are so sorry that you had to find us but you have found a supportive place where we all understand what this blood cancer journey is like.
We are a rather exclusive group of people and with that brings a lack of knowledge and information so this forum could be invaluable to everyone on their T-Cell journey. So recording your first hand life experience living with a T-Cell condition is so important regardless of how small that information is and more so during these challenging times you may find connecting with folks who have walked the walk very helpful.
If you have any questions or just want to talk with someone just hit the 'Start a Discussion' tab and introduce yourself to the group and remember to go to the right on the group home page and select how you want to receive email notifications when someone answers your posts.
If you have not done this, it would be really useful if you could put some information in your profile as this will help others when replying to you.
Just click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile' under the Profile Settings. If you're not sure what sort of thing to put just click on our forum names to get an idea.
Have a look through our various Macmillan Support Line Services then call them on 0808 808 00 00 to be very helpful covering Emotional Support and Practical Information. Clinical Information and Financial Support and Work Guidance mostly open 8.00 to 8.00 but check the link….. but be aware the service is VERY busy at the moment.
We are always around to help as best as we can.
Hi found t cell group, now to do profile. I'm not very good with all this, bear with me my grandkids can do better lol
Well done and great you got your profile up and remember you can see all outlets ones as well.
Let’s give you a couple of tips for the site.
You can look through all the discussions in the group by hitting the ‘Discussions’ tab. This is next to the ‘Latest Activity’ tab where you will see all the latest group posts in the order they have come in.
Do remember that for some of the older post the members may have moved on from the site so you may not get an answer.
The best way to get support is to go to the 'Start a Discussion' tab just under the main group name. Set up a Discussion and ask your questions.
If you want to reply to a post by any group member go to the bottom of that post and hit the ‘Reply’ tab in the blue box.
This posts on the group threads run in order of when the post was put up so it is always good to put the name of the person you are replying to at the start e.g. Hi (Mike) (Thehighlander)..... so they know you are replying to them.
If you want to change a post - go to the bottom of the post - hit ‘More’ and it will give you the options to ‘Edit’ or ‘Delete’ your post.
A quick way to find all your old posts is to klick on YOUR username where you will find your profile. Look for ‘My Lates Activity’ hit this and it will show all the posts you have put up on the site.
Welcome to the group and I hope that we can help you through this time ((hugs))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
