Hi, I'm into my third week of using this cream and it's definitely doing something but now I'm worried it's too much. I only use it from Monday to Friday as told by my doctor but it's now looking quite raw and sometimes looks wet. I'm feeling rubbish and very tired anyway but now a little worried that I've done something wrong. It hurts when I apply the cream which also doesn't help. Does anyone have any advice

  • Hi and welcome to the online community

I haven't used imiquimod cream but if you look at this patient leaflet (link), which I hope you were given, you will see that it says under 'possible side effects' to speak to your doctor if a skin reaction becomes too uncomfortable.

Let us know how you get on

I went to my dr because mine got very sore, wet and weepy and all around the lesion for about 5 -6 inches diameter was bright red and very hot. He gave me antibiotics which are working well, it’s much better now.
