Has anyone has this? What was your treatment. I'm booked in for Mohs surgery 28th may but worried it's growing and causing damage
Hi Kala26
You really seem to be going through it at the moment don't you, as it was only a couple of months ago that you had a BCC removed from your cheek. I'm hoping that you're recovering well from that operation.
Is the numb area that's an inch and a half away from the BCC you're having removed by Mohs surgery close to where the previous BCC was removed? The reason I ask is because if it is, the nerves affected from that operation can take some time to settle down again. When I've had surgery in the past, the area close to where the wound was felt numb for several months afterwards.
When you have a minute, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
