I had a biopsy on an ulcerated mole on my back, near where my bra straps are. They did an excision all biopsy with a 4mm margin and as I work in retail I’ve been signed off work for 3 weeks as the doctor didn’t want me stretching the wound while serving customers. I’m worried about it coming back as cancer, and I’m also autistic so I get bad anxiety anyway.

It's natural to worry that you might be diagnosed with skin cancer. Did the doctor tell you what sort of skin cancer they thought you might have?

Whilst having no skin cancer would be the best outcome, if it does turn out to be basal cell carcinoma (BCC) it's normally very slow growing, rarely a danger to life and is usually completely removed with simple surgery.
