I have just joined. I have had lung cancer now in my 4th year and keeping well.
I have just been told I have Bowens disease. I'm seeing the consultant in two weeks to discuss treatment. I know it's very treatable so I shouldn't be worried but I am. I've already had the biopsy done. .
Hi MBC51 and a very warm welcome to our corner of the online community.
It's natural to worry when you've had a biopsy but hopefully it will prove that at the worst it's Bowens disease. As you say, it's very treatable and rarely turns into skin cancer. If your consultant hasn't already given you information about it then clicking here will take you to Macmillan's page about it.
There are quite a few members here who have posted about having Bowens and treatment for it and clicking here will take you to their posts.
Let us know how you get on
