Sorry to hear you've received this diagnosis.

I've had a melanoma and BCC removed previously (full details of diagnosis and treatment are in my bio on my profile if you're interested) and based on my experience I would note down your excellent questions and take them with you to your appointment with plastics. We can often be told different things by different medical professionals, but in your current situation, they would be the department whose info I'd be most interested in at the moment.

Thsnks for your reply. I saw the plastic surgeon and he’s referred me to radiology hoping it will work without being cut. Also to have a biopsy.

I hope it’s successful for you as being cut open I think is more invasive and obviously scars. I think that’s what’s causing me anxiety. Will you let me know how it goes?
