Hello everyone
About a week ago I was told by the GP that the nodule I have on my upper eyelid in the inner canthus is basal cell carcinoma. He has referred me to an opthalmologist. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this, and also how long it usually takes to be referred and treated. I am also worried about if it could cause sight issues. The nodule is only 1mm.
Hi Michelle. It’s a truly worrying time, when you are going through learning about and waiting for diagnosis and care treatment plans. It’s overwhelming and you can feel alone.
i Have just joined too I think this is the best place for support and advice. My own advise is the push your gp, I got my diagnosis done quickly, because I pushed for it myself, and got treatment quickly
i hope this helps a little
