A couple of questions from someone new to the group

Hello, I haven't had my surgery yet so I can't share my own experience with you. But I am surprised they didn't give you instructions on these things before you left the hospital. When I had my appointment with the plastic surgeon he told me I would need to rest for at least a week and won't be able shower or wash my hair while I have the dressing on which will be a week to 10 days. I have one BCC on my cheek, this was the surgery he was telling me about. I don't know yet if that will  need a skin graft or a skin flap  I've also had a biopsy on my nose for a second lesion which I'm waiting for results for. Hopefully someone who has had surgery will reply soon with more helpful information..

Thank you for responding. I got some information but it was not consistent between the consultant, surgeon and nurses. I have an appointment to have my head dressing checked next week so hopefully can get some clarity then. Good luck to you
