Hi there, I have just been diagnosed with SCC - I have appointments over the next few weeks with ENT, Dermatology and a PET Scan. I am very very scared, single Mum with two young kids who are 10 and 16. I feel really well, just like myself, not sleeping great with worry, lungs are clear and been discharged from Haematology. I did hear the word mestastatic when the consultant was diagnosing me. I have just googled this word and I am extremely worried now. I haven't told many people. Don't want my kids to know. Being very very positive. But just need to talk to someone who understands. Thanks for listening.
