Hi I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 scc on my lower abdomen (quite an unusual spot from what I have read) I had an excision surgery and just had the results back that it’s scc. When they gave me my results they didn’t say much just that I would be referred within 2 weeks, I tried to ask questions, but was just told I would have to wait for my next appointment. Can anyone give any advise about what to expect next? What sort of treatment will I have to have?
Hi Dee1989c6aa9f and a very warm welcome to our group which I hope you'll find is an informative and supportive place to be.
I don't have any experience with SCC, my skin cancers have been melanoma and BCC, so I can't tell you what treatment you're likely to have.
I've had a look in the group and the most recent person to post about their experience with SCC is Abcded52316 so I've tagged them into my reply to you and hope they'll pop on and share their experience.
Wishing you all the best
