im 19 years old, autistic. my mum has just been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma? im struggling with shock. my mum is my EVERYTHING. im extremely attached to her, shes my safe person, my best friend. I dont know what im supposed to do. she has a emergency appointment to remove the areas affected but im so scared and I dont know how to support her. she hasent even cried about it. I just dont know what im supposed to do, being autistic makes my emotions much harder, ive cried once because I just dont understand why it had to be her. I know survival is high as its caught early but im still so scared and confused. help please?
