I've been looking at my eyelid and wondering what happens if I have MOHS SURGERY
and then having a hughes flap. Has anyone had any experience of this? I was also wondering why skin cancer starts with moles and changing skin etc and my skin is being eaten away. Is it worse or better, more advanced or early. Why does it tingle ?
Hi Ammon I had a bcc under my eye right up to my tear duct. I had it removed by skin graft surgery. It looked a mess for a few weeks but has healed really well and the car is hardly visible now. Has your surgeon given you a plan of action of how they are going to deal with it. They do sometimes tingle and itch. I didnt have MOHS surgery as my plastic surgeon was sure he could take it away with a wide enough margin.
Hi Harlyn, I'm having a consultation soon and hope to get a better idea of what they are going to do. My first examination letter mentioned MOHS SURGERY but what details my next appointment will be I'm not sure. I'm more reassured that the tingling sensation isn't just what I'm experiencing. I'm pleased to hear things with you are better. I'll let you know what happens and will make a few more posts as I go along. Have a great Monday. Ammon.
