My journey started when i noticed a lump on my lower eyelid. I thought at the time that it was a stye so i left it.
However when it disappeared it left a hole in my eye lid that was quite long and noticeable. I visited the doctor who referred me to a eye hospital then i had a appointment at another NHS building. I then went to an eye hospital specialist who diagnosed BCC. My eye can be red sore itchy flaky. The gap in my eyelid fills up with something i call gunk. A build up of cells? waste product from damaged tear ducts? im not too sure. My eye can be blood shot, the area can tingle and its hard not to rub it. I wash it regularly and at the moment there is a small bit of blood.
My vision can be blurry and most days it is. The bcc is slowly progressing.
Hi Ammon
Have they given you a waiting time period or any advice on how to look after it in meantime as it sounds like it's open?
I haven't had a bcc near my eye. Mine was on my nose
Yes. Definitely go back if you're not happy with something. You don't want to be getting an infection
Hi Puckettyboo hope you don't mind me asking this did everything go well for your operation? Im being sedated I think for mine. Was it a day operation?
