Hi, sorry I haven't been diagnosed yet(part of the problem) so don't know if I should even be on this bit, but looking for any advice and probably to vent a bit. I had aggressive fast growing squamas cell on side of my nose 4 years ago, mohs, skin graft and reg checks all dealt with really well by hospital. Had last check Feb last year - In June 24 noticed lesion on forehead, eventually went to GP in Dec as it got longer then i got another, and also lump under armpit( I just thought it was gift of menopause)
GP did 2ww referral, 2 days later Teledermatology a week later 17th Dec phone call to see dermatology.10th Jan due to xmas
Letter came it's under 2ww so panic staions for me with prev history, stressing all over xmas and upto appointment - research overload on Teledermatology.....9th jan hosp cancel appointment for 10th as Doc sick, ring 2ww line to rebook, but can't as appointment not shown as cancelled on the system or NHS app, although they are aware it was cancelled, I've rung every day and they say the same, can't book it until whoever cancelled it does it on system, but if they never do it, will i ever get app. I know there's alot of people who have a diagnosis and have alot more to worry about but I'm panicking so much as all the research I've done shows the Teledermatology is an accurate diagnostic tool and you would only be referred to consultant, if squamous cell or melanoma under 2ww
