Hi I am new to this group. I have a diagnosis of bowens disease, I was diagnosed a few months back, I had a big leision taken off my face, but a recent appointment it has now started to grow back, I also have it on my forehead, I am at the moment using Efudix cream which has made my forehead red and sore, I have now started to put the cream on the leision that is growing back, it's scary getting this diagnosis and I've found that some people I have told don't really want to talk to me about my feelings around it.

My manager has been amazing with it all at work but it's getting hard for me to go to work because of my appearance, I work out in the community so going out to see people is hard.

Anyway I just wanted to say hi

Hi Liqurice1 Sorry to read your post. I have had 2 basal cell cancers removed from my face by surgery and now healed and ok. My husband has used Efudix cream for pre cancerous lesions Whilst the cream does make your face a mess, stick with it as it works. My husbands face is clear now, lovely new healthy skin and Consultant is really pleased with the result. People dont want to talk to you about it that havent been through it Most people used to say to me me "its only skin cancer not dangerous".
