BecauseI've recently been diagnosed with a BCC with dermatitis, im on the waiting list for PDT is this a new thing?

I don't have any personal experience with PDT (photodynamic therapy) but you can read more about it by clicking here. You'll see that it's used for treating some types of BCC and sun damaged skin that hasn't yet become cancerous.
