Hi, last month I had an itchy mole.

I've now had it removed, it was a melanoma, and am waiting for a date for a further operation and lymph nodes removal .

It's all very new, shocking and scary. Anybody out there who is further on than me? What has your journey been?

Yes, I agree the melanoma diagnosis is scary. Your situation will be unique and the lymph node biopsy results will guide the doctor's decision making. You can also post in the Melanoma forum on this site to attract more responses. Best wishes during the waiting game!
