I have just been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma stage 3 in anal area , started off as what I thought was a skin tag but over the years has grew and in past 9 month its grew quite big hence the reason I ended up going to hospital regarding it as have always been embarrassed about where its located just wonder if anyone else has been in the same position.
Thanks Carrie
Hi Carrie333 and a very warm welcome to the group
I'm sorry to read that you've been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in your anal area. I hope you don't mind me pointing you in the direction of the anal cancer group as you'll then be able to talk to others with this type of cancer.
Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there where you can join and post in the same way as you did here. You can also join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
