I'm sorry to read that you've already had six SCCs removed and now more have appeared. It must be very upsetting for you.
I don't have any experience with acitretin so typed this into the search bar to see if anyone else in the group has reported using it. Unfortunately I drew a blank.
However, I have found this leaflet about acitretin from BAD (British Association of Dermatologists) which describes it's use and any potential side effects.
