With a CT scan, they only scan my groin and upwards, I assume to make sure that the cancer hasn't spread to the lymph nodes but I am not sure why they don't also scan my full body and see if the cancer has all been removed from my leg.
Is the CT scan able to view cell-level cancer or is it only looking at lymph nodes in which case I understand there would be no point in scanning my legs.
The cancer is/was on my shin.
