I'm currently on a further bout of Dermovate steroid cream treaRolling eyesent through a different consultant. How can I help this bastard wound heal. It's hard to sit. It's hard to lie down. Should it be left open or covered? I take a daily photograph of the site and willRolling eyese turning into a stop motion film once I've worked out how to do it. Google only allows 50 frames at a time. Rolling eyes Has anyone found a decent 20x20cm square dressing?

  • Hi

I’m really sorry to read that since treatment your wound, some 4 years later, hasn't healed. I don't have any experience of this but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

If you don't get any replies here, it might be an idea to also post this in the ask a nurse section of the online community and one of the nurses will aim to get back to you within 3 working days. Although they don't have access to your medical records, they can give general advice.

If this is something that you'd like to do, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
