Hi everyone. I had a BCC removed from the tip of my nose yesterday. I had a skin graft but it  dips in the middle and the surrounding area where the stitches were seemed to be quite high.  Will the stitches flatten out in time? Has anyone else had this? 

  • Hi Trisha 1962   Very early days yet.  My skin grafts and skin flaps took a long time to settle and look ok, but were possibly bigger than yours.  Once the stitches are out you will probably be  told to massage it with vaseline or bio oil, but they will tell you.  It takes a few months before they look ok, but it will be fine in the end, trust me . xx
