I had a large BCC removed from my scalp in March - it was 5cm and required extensive reconstruction and there was a 2.5cm part left to heal by secondary intention. Infection and overgranulation creed 4 other patches left open. At one point I thought it was never going to heal and that I would have extensive bald patches. I had a six month follow up today and have been discharged. There areo signs of recurrence and it has healed better than the surgeon was expecting! I only have one bald patch and it is easily covered with hair. I write this in hopes that anyone facing similar can te heart that things will get better.
That's great! I don't like the idea of taking supplements so I am weighing it up at the moment.
Same here and as I eat a mostly healthy plant based diet i was very hesitant.
I think in the end I just decided it was worth trying. I'd read some interesting reports on it so started taking it.
I think only time will tell and it's definitely not a guarantee
I had a very good response to cream and little discomfort. Hope it went well for you.
