  • hello Paul (

A warm welcome to the group although I am so sorry to find you joining us.

Yes, treatment is a very personal choice and you should think about this along with and partner as many of the treatment side effects will affect both of you. My advice is to obtain as much information regarding the treatments listing the pros and cons for each treatment as to how each treatment would affect you and any partner. Use trusted sources for your information, Cancer Research UK, Prostate Cancer UK and Macmillan (Not Dr Google).

You can read people's personal journey if they have recorded it by clicking on their name or avatar (mine's no good to you as I have had none of the treatments you have been offered) and off hand I can't think of any Community member who has had Cryotherapy.

    Let me start you off:

    Cryotherapy-for-early-prostate-cancer.

    Radiotherapy/external-beam-radiotherapy/stereotactic-ablative-radiotherapy-sabr.

    Prostatectomy-for-prostate-cancer.

I hope the above helps. Feel free to ask any questions.

    Best wishes - Brian.
