Hello,
I was diagnosed in March after MRI and biopsy, Gleason 3+4, T3. Thankfully follow up CT and bone scans have not shown any spread so for that I am grateful.
Provisional surgery date is 23rd June, I can’t have RT as I have Crohn’s disease and the inflammation in my bowel was visible behind the prostate on the MRI.
Currently receiving biologic infusions to get my IBD under control as well as medication.
Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to the group.
Hi RIck - a good, concise and reasoned report on where you are on your treatment pathway. Good luck! By the way, how old are you? AW
Hello Rick (RIck )
Welcome to the group, although I am so sorry to find you joining us. I wish you well with your surgery and hope you have a great recovery and none of the possible lasting side effects.
Feel free to ask any questions, there's a wealth of knowledge on the group from people who have had surgery.
Best wishes - Brian.
