Hi all,
First day of Radiotherapy today, everything went well with the Bowel and Bladder prep, and the treatment (SGRT) went ahead smoothly... I'm having 20 fractions of 3gy daily, 60gy total to the Prostate and Pelvic nodes... Next PSA test is end of March (0.11 as of last test mid December), and then Consultation Meeting Mid April... I've not been dwelling on this disease much and just staying positive, getting on with work, and the finer things in life... But because RT is a daily treatment it's kind of in my face atm so it will be nice to get this over with and back to the new normal...
Like all of my treatments thus far the NHS staff are and have been amazing...
All the best to all
Jay
Hello Jay (Eikcorb )
Great news, i down 19 to go. Just as you get into a daily routine and into the swing of things it will all be over and you will have so much time on your hands.
Keep us posted as to how it goes.
Best wishes - Brian.
