New here.
Operation is all booked, but I am probably more worried about how it will change me, than the operation itself.
Hi Clovis Good to hear you're making progress. I'm a week on from my op and catheter came out yesterday. Dry since but different sensation/ expectation so will adapt I'm sure. I've been out walking most days building up the distance. I'm not wanting ti tempt fate but I've not had any significant problems. Catheter was a faff but out now and bowel movements resumed fairly swiftly. Bruisingto the perineum but no pain or swelling. I'm surprised in all honesty by where I am so soon after the op. Six weeks follow up in the diary for late April.
Best wishes to everyone going through similar times and journeys.
