Just a quick hello to everyone. Just getting started on the journey.
Started out with psa 5 free psa 5.6%. Been through MRI with Pirads 3 then biopsies came back Gleason 3+3 and Cambridge Prognostic Group of 1. Now on active surveillance with 3 monthly psa checks.
The NHS has been amazing with 4 weeks from confirming elevated psa to biopsy stage. The wait for biopsy results was a torture though.
I think I am in a good space now but still have a bit of fear of the unknown even with my diagnosis not expected to cause me any problems.
Lots of great advice here which has been a great h my help for me.
Onwards and upwards and hope I can keep my headspace clear
Hi Jester999190dfc Sorry to see you in this forum but it’s the place that I would highly recommend to anyone . My husband and I are so thankful for the support given .
Keep in contact and ask any question no matter how trivial you think they are .
Best wishes

Thank you - it’s been a lot of ups and downs but support has been great and finding places like here have been a god send.
Next MRI being scheduled for 18-24 months but everything will hinge on any changes in psa which jumped from 2.8 2 years ago.
Just on the odd occasion tumour can grow but PSA doesn't or very little, not common but does happen, just keep monitoring.
All the best
Steve
